Bristol Belgrade
Heritage grand hotel with a sophisticated contemporary interior. Creamy and earthy tones, plush burgundy accents, Art Deco-inspired details. The lobby reads like an oversized living room done well — warm, not stuffy. Feels dressed up without demanding you be.

Why It Matters
One of the oldest hotels in Belgrade, this building hosted Rockefeller family members, British royals, chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov, and Yugoslav president Josip Broz Tito over its 113-year history. It earned a MICHELIN Key in 2025, its very first year after reopening — a fast validation for an ambitious restoration project under owner Mohamed Alabbar.
Belgrade's grand dame of hotels, opened in 1912 as a showpiece of Secession (Art Nouveau) architecture and declared a cultural monument in 1987. After closing in 2018 and spending two and a half years under intensive restoration, it reopened in early 2025 as an independent five-star luxury hotel — 143 rooms, three dining venues, and a serious spa, all wrapped in a façade restored by 16 sculptors and artists working alongside the Belgrade City Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments. It earned a MICHELIN Key in its first year back.
