A 1906 colonial mansion on Lebuh Leith — once Hakka tycoon Yeo Wee Gark's private residence, later commandeered as a Japanese administrative centre during WWII — reborn in 2016 after a four-year restoration by owners Eugene Tan and Rina Teoh. The building's bones are all still there: original cast-iron colonnades, decorative frescos, colourful tiles, green shutters. Thirty-five rooms across three categories wrap around a central open courtyard, and a small pool sits beneath a canopy of tropical trees. The Lounge, stocked around the clock with local snacks, coffee, and an evening wine-and-cheese hour, is arguably the hotel's best feature.

The top of the house. At 58–61 sqm this is a genuinely spacious room with a separate living area, plush furnishings, and jade accent tones that reference the mansion's heritage.
