The adjacent House of Julius Meinl Gourmet Shop is a genuine bonus.
The Julius Prague is the debut hotel from the Julius Meinl family — the Viennese coffee and hospitality dynasty with 160 years of heritage behind them. The building is neo-renaissance, the interiors are by Milanese firm Matteo Thun & Partners, and the result is 168 spacious residences that feel more like well-appointed apartments than hotel rooms. It opened in July 2022 and earned a MICHELIN Key in 2025 — a meaningful endorsement for a first-time hotelier. The pitch is genuinely good: luxury finishes, full kitchens in most room types, and a calm that makes extended stays genuinely practical.

The largest and most premium option at 70 sqm. All the features of the One-Bedroom Suite, but bigger — and with a freestanding bathtub that warrants the upgrade on its own. Full kitchen, garment steamer, separate living and sleeping areas. Guests have described suites here as roughly 900 sq ft with a high-end fully equipped kitchen and completely silent rooms. The category to book for longer stays or when only the best will do.
King + Sofa Bed · 70 sqm
Deluxe Studio
The first room category with a kitchenette — ceramic hob, microwave, and fridge. Living and resting areas flow into each other without a hard divide. Good for a mid-length stay where you want the flexibility to eat in.
Deluxe Studio with Terrace
Same layout as the Deluxe Studio but with a private terrace added. The outdoor space is a genuine bonus in the city centre — morning coffee, evening wine, no crowds.
One-Bedroom Suite
45 sqm with proper separation between living and sleeping areas — an oak-wood divider does the work subtly. Full kitchen (ceramic hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge), fold-out sofa, and dining area. Sleeps up to four. Fine bone china from Villeroy & Boch in the kitchen. Works equally well for a two-night visit or a two-week stay.
King + Sofa Bed · 45 sqmOne-Bedroom Suite with Terrace
Everything in the One-Bedroom Suite plus a private terrace almost as large as the suite itself. The terrace opens onto garden views — a rare find in central Prague. Separate living and sleeping areas, full kitchen, sleeps up to four.

The entry-level room and the most compact option — 25 sqm with a king bed and walk-in rainforest shower. No kitchen here, so it's best suited to a short city break or a business visit rather than a longer stay.
