Why It Matters

The Landmark Nicosia opened its doors on December 2, 2025 — the first Autograph Collection property in Cyprus — after a multimillion-euro transformation of a building that has stood on Makarios III Avenue since 1967. Back in the day it was the Hilton Cyprus, the political and social nerve centre of the capital. Now it's something else: copper accents woven into the walls, Lefkara lace patterns in the textiles, bespoke furniture throughout, and a design vocabulary pulled directly from Cypriot craft traditions. It's a five-star city business hotel that genuinely knows where it comes from.
