Family-owned and run by Laurence and Helen Beere, it punches well above its size: a Michelin Key awarded in autumn 2024, and The Olive Tree downstairs holds Bath's only Michelin Star. Classic
Individually designed rooms where Georgian bones meet contemporary flair. Standard double beds, each room with its own personality. Some have a bathtub, others a large walk-in shower. Great for a short break — honest, stylish, and well-executed without the bells and whistles of the upper categories.

Club
The hotel's smallest rooms, but they don't shortchange on style. All on the first floor, all en-suite with rainfall showers (no bath). Double beds. Perfect for solo travellers or anyone who just wants a nicely designed place to sleep and has no intention of spending the day in their room. The shower setup is excellent.

Deluxe
The most spacious double rooms in the hotel. Comfortable sofa areas make it easy to settle in; many have king or twin bed options. More living space than the Classic rooms, spread across a range of floors, each with its own character. Versatile and well-suited for a proper weekend break.

The showstopper room. Centre stage is a gloriously generous, seven-foot-square four poster bed — the sort you sink into and decide not to leave. Seating area overlooks Russell Street. The bathroom is the real treat: a double walk-through shower, a freestanding bath, and leafy garden views. Made for celebrations, anniversaries, and slow weekends.

Open-plan rooms that started life as Georgian drawing rooms, and the bones show in the best way. High ceilings, decorative fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Russell Street, and a spacious seating area. King beds, an en-suite with bathtub. Good for longer stays.
KingMaster Deluxe
Spacious, individually designed rooms with signature personality. The standout feature is the freestanding roll-top bath alongside a walk-in shower. Super king beds, bespoke furniture, and a comfortable seating area. Each one looks like it belongs in a different house — that's very much the point.
Super KingSuperior
A step up from the Classic in square footage. All have a sofa and coffee table, making them genuinely comfortable for two nights or more. Located on the first, second, and third floors; some are available with twin beds. A solid mid-tier pick.
