Louisiana residents get 20% off all spa services Monday–Thursday (valid ID required, excludes holidays)

Why It Matters

Holds the Forbes Travel Guide 4-Star designation. Houses the largest spa in New Orleans at 25,000 sq ft with 20+ treatment rooms and over 100 treatments. Resident jazz musician Jeremy Davenport performs in the Davenport Lounge multiple nights a week. The building itself (originally home to New Orleans' first radio station, WSMB) is a recognized Historic Landmark known as the 'Crown Jewel of Canal Street.'

The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans occupies the 1908 Beaux Arts Maison Blanche building — a Historic District Landmark on Canal Street — and has been playing it straight since it opened in 2000. No funky design experiments here. What you get is serious traditional luxury: high ceilings, marble baths, 400-thread-count Frette linens, and the kind of attentive service the brand built its name on. Bourbon Street is one block away, so the French Quarter is genuinely walkable, but the hotel itself feels insulated enough that you can ignore all that if you want.
