The Twelve Apostles sits on one of the world's great coastal drives, with the Atlantic Ocean rolling out in front and the Table Mountain National Park rising straight up behind. It's 70 individually-designed rooms in a building that started life as a private home before being converted to a hotel in 2002. Part of the family-run Red Carnation Hotel Collection, it runs closer to polished boutique than grand resort — warm service, serious food at Azure, and an award-winning spa with outdoor mountain gazebos. The location is genuinely removed from central Cape Town, which is either a feature or a bug depending on what you want.

Deluxe Room
Steps up with full-height sliding doors, a private balcony, and sweeping views of the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Electronic safe and bottled water included.
Grand Master Suite
Occupies a private upper floor of the hotel — a secluded series of rooms with full butler service. Fresh flowers, Nespresso machine, and evening canapés. As close to having the hotel to yourself as it gets.
Junior Sea-Facing Suite
A step into proper suite territory. Features a sunken lounge with views out over the winding coastal road and the Atlantic beyond. Cosy and well-proportioned.
Luxury Room
Larger than the Classic and Deluxe categories, with private terraces and views of either the Atlantic Ocean or Table Mountain National Park. Bespoke furnishings throughout, 24-hour room service, bathrobes and slippers.
