Twenty Two
Maximalist, arty, old-world glamour meets current-day cool. Members' club energy without the stuffiness. Equal parts drama and warmth.
Each floor shares a butler — staff keep a 'facebook' of guest preferences so they remember your coffee order by day two
Why It Matters
Michelin Guide recommended. Rare combo of a fully functioning boutique hotel within a genuine private members' club — hotel guests are automatically temporary members during their stay. Interior design by Natalia Miyar pays homage to 18th-century French grandeur in a building with roots going back to 1727. Robb Report gave it 8/10 at launch, calling it 'glamorous, soigné, welcoming.'
The Twenty Two is a 31-key boutique hotel, all-day restaurant, and private members' club inside a grand Edwardian manor on Grosvenor Square. Designer Natalia Miyar ran wild with maximalist interiors — think black-and-white Cabochon marble bathrooms, Pierre Frey wallpaper, red velvet from floor to ceiling, and Venetian glass chandeliers — in a space that's been described as staying in your wealthiest friend's remarkably with-it Italian grandmother's house. No dress code. No one's calling you sir. And the food is seriously good.
