Tides Beach Club
Casual coastal-chic. Think South Beach color palette dropped into classic New England architecture — aqua, coral, and white against wraparound porches and ocean views. Social lobby bar scene, but the neighborhood itself is quiet and residential. Not a party hotel.

Why It Matters
The only full-service beachfront hotel directly on Goose Rocks Beach. A 118-year-old historic inn with two Jonathan Adler-designed oceanfront suites, a genuinely good seafood restaurant open to the public, and shared access to sister property Hidden Pond's Tree Spa, two pools, and Peloton-equipped fitness studio. Featured in Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.
The Tides Beach Club is a 21-room seasonal boutique hotel on Goose Rocks Beach — the only full-service, waterfront hotel on this stretch of Southern Maine coast. Built in 1899 as a grand Shingle-style inn (it once hosted Teddy Roosevelt and Arthur Conan Doyle), it was fully renovated in 2011 by the Kennebunkport Resort Collection and now runs a breezy beach-chic look with Jonathan Adler-designed suites and a seafood restaurant right on the porch. It's a warm-weather-only operation, open spring through fall.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Complimentary beach cruiser bikes for guests — good for exploring the neighborhood or making the half-hour ride to Dock Square in downtown Kennebunkport.
Morning beach yoga sessions offered on or near the beach during summer season.
State-of-the-art fitness studio at Hidden Pond, available to Tides guests daily 8 AM–10 PM. Equipped with Peloton bikes, NordicTrack treadmills, Hydrow rowing machines, and The Mirror on-demand classes.
Complimentary shuttle runs between the Tides, Hidden Pond, and Kennebunkport Dock Square daily during summer, typically 5–10 PM for the Dock Square run.
The hotel sits directly across a small road from Goose Rocks Beach — a long, quiet stretch of soft sand. During summer, Beach Tenders set up chairs, towels, and umbrellas for hotel guests on the beach. The beach is calm enough for swimming in July and August.
Two-hour kayak rental from Kennebunkport Marina is included in the resort fee, seasonal availability.
SUP boards available to guests, included in the resort fee.
Surfing and bodyboarding available nearby in the waters off Goose Rocks Beach.
Live entertainment on the restaurant porch on Sundays from 3–5 PM during the season.
Guests have full access to two swimming pools at sister property Hidden Pond, a free shuttle ride away. One pool is adults-only.
