Why It Matters
The only full-service beachfront hotel directly on Goose Rocks Beach. A 118-year-old historic inn with two Jonathan Adler-designed oceanfront suites, a genuinely good seafood restaurant open to the public, and shared access to sister property Hidden Pond's Tree Spa, two pools, and Peloton-equipped fitness studio. The Tides Beach Club is a 21-room seasonal boutique hotel on Goose Rocks Beach — the only full-service, waterfront hotel on this stretch of Southern Maine coast. Built in 1899 as a grand Shingle-style inn (it once hosted Teddy Roosevelt and Arthur Conan Doyle), it was fully renovated in 2011 by the Kennebunkport Resort Collection and now runs a breezy beach-chic look with Jonathan Adler-designed suites and a seafood restaurant right on the porch. It's a warm-weather-only operation, open spring through fall.

Adler Ocean Suite
The top tier here, and genuinely worth it. Both suites were designed by Jonathan Adler, meaning bold color and graphic patterns in a room that actually has a sense of humor. Private balcony faces directly onto Goose Rocks Beach — you can watch the tide from bed. Extra living space compared to standard rooms. These are on the second floor.
King
Grand King
One of the larger standard king configurations at the property. Same coastal design, Frette linens, marble bath, and full in-room amenity package as other rooms.

Oceanfront Queen
A standard room with the best possible view — direct ocean panoramas. Rooms are cozy rather than spacious; the bathrooms are modern but petite (marble and stainless steel finishes). Frette linens on the bed, Nespresso machine on the counter. Aqua and coral palette gives the feel of being in a very well-designed beach house.
QueenTides King
King bed rooms with coastal décor and a range of views depending on position. Some have ocean views; others look toward the quaint residential neighborhood. All feature the same in-room package: Frette linens, marble bath, Nespresso, mini-fridge, and flat-screen TV. Bathrooms are on the smaller side — patterned wallpaper, soft marble surfaces.

A step up from the standard king, this configuration adds a separate seating area — good for those who want a little more room to spread out without going full suite. Same coastal design language and in-room amenities as other rooms.
