Why It Matters
One of Rome's only genuine aristocratic family villas operating as a hotel. The building sits directly across from the Quirinal Palace (Italy's presidential residence) on the same hill. The family connection runs to Italian royalty — the current fifth-generation owner Andrea Spalletti Trivelli continues the tradition. The newly opened Caschera Spa (September 2025) sits above the ancient Baths of Constantine. Guests get a complimentary bottle of the family's own Pomario wine on arrival.

The Spalletti Trivelli family has owned and lived here for five generations — it only opened as a hotel in 2004 after a careful renovation. Around 100 sqm with two bedrooms (one double, one queen-sized), a full kitchen, two bathrooms (one with shower, one with both tub and shower), and a large sitting room with fold-out single bed. Good for families — the queen bedroom works for one adult or two kids.

Garden Suite
Two garden-level suites in the building directly across from the main villa, connected through the private garden. Each runs 80–90 sqm with a double bedroom, two bathrooms, a large sitting room with sofa bed, a full kitchen, and a private terrace with outdoor furniture. These are the most independent options — proper apartment living with hotel services. Guests still get full access to villa amenities including breakfast in the Papier Peint Room, the complimentary Arazzi bar, and free spa/hammam/gym access.
