Brisbane City Centre
Playful, design-forward upscale hotel with a sustainability-conscious ethos and a lively social atmosphere. Flamingo mascot and all.
North Quay is currently closed due to Brisbane City Council roadworks. Arrive via North Quay and flag down the roadworks crew at the Turbot Street intersection — tell them you're heading to voco and they'll let you through.
Why It Matters
First voco brand property to open in Brisbane, brought to market by Vista Hospitality Group (a joint venture between Pro-invest Group and Next Story Group). Interiors by JPDC are a cut above standard IHG product, and the rooftop pool with river views is genuinely good.
Opened in 2022 on Brisbane's North Quay riverfront, voco Brisbane City Centre brings a shot of colour and personality to the city's CBD hotel scene. The 194-room property was designed by Sydney-based studio JPDC — think dark blue, warm neutrals, and pops of signature voco yellow threaded through artworks and furniture. It sits right on the Brisbane River, which means genuine views from a rooftop pool that actually delivers on the promise.
