The name is the street address: 15 Beacon Street, in a 1903 Beaux Arts building at the top of Beacon Hill, one block from Boston Common. Boston's original luxury boutique hotel, XV Beacon spreads just 61 rooms across seven per floor — intimate enough to feel like your own city residence. Dark mahogany paneling, an original caged-glass elevator, and art commissioned specifically for the building give it a particular mood: romantic, slightly moody, nothing like the polished anonymity of Boston's bigger luxury players. Rooms run a taupe, cream, and espresso palette with gas fireplaces in every single one, Italian marble bathrooms, Frette linens, and cashmere throws. No pool, no spa — but the service here is genuinely exceptional and the location is hard to beat.

One of the best-value upgrades in the building. About 485 square feet with a proper sitting area (loveseat or two armchairs) looking onto historic Beacon Street, a large wooden desk, and a full all-imported marble bathroom with both rainforest shower and whirlpool tub. King bed. Views of the street below are genuinely charming.

Corner room configuration at ~475 square feet with the best natural light in the building — windows face both Beacon Street and the Boston Common. A pull-out Queen sofa ($35 charge) sits in front of the fireplace, making it a good option for families traveling with one child. Bromfield Suite
At ~970 square feet, the Bromfield is a proper one-bedroom suite: a Studio Room combined with a separate Parlor Room that has a dining/boardroom table seating up to twelve. A legitimate choice for business travelers or anyone who wants real separation between sleeping and entertaining.

The entry-level room at XV Beacon, and even here they don't cut corners. About 300 square feet with a walk-in rainforest shower (no tub), a working gas fireplace with a desk and chair right in front of it, and a Queen bed dressed in Frette linens. Compact, but well considered.

At ~395 square feet, the Contemporary Classic adds a Chaise Lounge sitting area near the fireplace, and — crucially — a sunken Jacuzzi whirlpool tub in the all-marble bathroom alongside the rainforest shower. Can be configured with one King or two double beds. A meaningful step up from the entry rooms.

The top of the house. The parlor's boardroom table seats twelve, making this a genuine option for high-end corporate use or large family/group travel. Named for the 18th-century portraitist whose work hangs in the hotel.
