The Anvil is a former roadside motel that Brooklyn-based Studio Tack turned into something genuinely cool — frontier-chic without being kitschy, stylish without the price tag of Jackson Hole's typical upscale options. Sister property Turpin Meadow Ranch in Moran, WY (on the banks of the Buffalo Fork River) offers front-door access to 2.5 million acres of Teton wilderness. Activities include fat-tire biking, snowmobiling, and guided outdoor experiences. Available December–March for winter excursions.
