Casa Mar is a tightly edited, eight-room pousada perched above a working fishing village at Praia Grande — about 15 minutes by car from Paraty's cobblestone historic centre. One of the owners is an architect, and it shows: the hillside property is smartly designed to face the island-dotted bay, with every common area angled for the view. The infinity pool is the centrepiece, and it earns every photo taken of it.
