Cour des Loges
Renaissance grandeur meets contemporary luxury. Stone staircases, exposed beams, timbered ceilings, and intricate woodwork throughout — but the interiors have been properly upgraded with modern fabrics and design classics, not left to feel museum-like. It's a theatrical building that takes itself seriously but wears it well.
Request a room overlooking the inner courtyard for the most atmospheric views — street-facing rooms on Rue du Boeuf get pedestrian noise in peak season
Why It Matters
France's first Radisson Collection Hotel, occupying a complex of 14th–16th century buildings in Lyon's UNESCO-listed Old Town. The on-site Les Loges restaurant earned One MICHELIN Star in the 2026 Guide under Chef Anthony Bonnet. The building itself — arched walkways, secret traboules, multi-level arcades — is as much the attraction as the rooms.
Four medieval and Renaissance buildings — the oldest dating to the 14th century — were stitched together into one labyrinthine complex on a car-free cobblestone street in Vieux Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage district. The entry courtyard, crowned by a 17-meter contemporary glass canopy, serves as the hotel's lobby and beating heart. France's first Radisson Collection property, it reopened fully renovated in May 2025 with 61 individually designed rooms, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a spa integrated quietly into the historic stonework.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
An intimate private space within the hotel used for cooking classes, wine tastings, and private dinners with the chef. Bookable separately from the main restaurants.
Gift boxes available covering breakfast experiences, gastronomic dinners, and overnight stays. Purchasable from the hotel's dedicated gift portal starting from €44.
The hotel has integrated a series of hanging gardens and a rooftop garden into its multi-building complex — a genuinely rare amenity for an urban property in a medieval building.
An on-site boutique stocking local Lyonnais products — wines, craft beers, spirits, and tableware from regional artisans. A good place to pick up something genuinely local rather than tourist-shop generic.
The hotel sits steps from Lyon's famous traboules — the secret passageways threading through Renaissance buildings that silk workers once used to transport fabric. The hotel concierge team (three hold Clefs d'Or) can map out a route.
