Why It Matters
Sister property to El Llorenç Parc de la Mar in Palma, this is the only five-star hotel right on Cala Molins beach in the north of the island. Chef Santi Taura — Michelin star holder since 2020 — oversees all dining, making it one of very few beach hotels in Mallorca with genuinely serious food. Rooms start at 20m² so the Standard rooms are compact, but suites and the Penthouse climb to 74m² with private pools and 110m² terraces.
El Vicenç de la Mar opened in June 2022 right on the seafront at Cala Molins in Cala Sant Vicenç, one of Mallorca's more low-key corners. Think cream-and-beige rooms with flashes of teal and blue, huge windows framing the Cavall Bernat peaks, and Michelin-starred chef Santi Taura running the kitchens. It's adults-only, it has a cinema, and the rooftop pool looks straight out over the bay.
