A 19th-century Porfirian palace on Guanajuato's most graceful promenade, this is the kind of place where the bones actually matter. The building — Casa Antonia del Moral y Otero — dates to the 1800s and was visited by President Porfirio Díaz himself between 1903 and 1910. Today it holds 20 individually decorated suites split across two structures: the original Casona and the San Antonio wing. Each room goes its own direction. You get brass four-poster beds in one, whirlpool tubs in another, balconies with Cerro de la Bufa views in a third. No two are the same.
