Why It Matters
Every room is a one-off. The Blueberry suite has a rooftop Jacuzzi and private terrace. The Vegas suite fits four. The Apres Ski is a 16m2 solo room with a mountain terrace. No two stays are the same, and repeat guests regularly book a different room just to see what they missed. The hotel also has genuine architectural pedigree — it's a real design project, not a superficial theme hotel.
Hotel Nox is a 4-star design boutique with 34 individually named and themed rooms, each conceived by a different Slovenian architect or designer. The concept came out of furniture company Hit Preless wanting a living showroom — so guests actually sleep in prototype interiors, and the building doubles as a working furniture salon (Nox Interier). It sits in the Šentvid district, about 7km northwest of Ljubljana's old town, right next to the highway exit. Not walkable to the center, but a bus stop is 200m from the door and the airport is 20 minutes away.
