Ibagari Boutique Hotel
Open-air, art-forward tropical modernism. Think gallery-quality paintings alongside natural materials, high ceilings, and ocean views from nearly every vantage point. Intimate and deliberately quiet — the property keeps groups small so the pool and beach feel private.
Luna Muna is open to non-guests and is genuinely popular with islanders — book ahead for dinner, especially on weekends.
Why It Matters
In 2025, Ibagari became the first and only hotel in Honduras — and in Roatán — to be awarded a MICHELIN Key. Michelin inspectors visit anonymously and evaluate independently, so the recognition is a genuine signal of excellence, not a paid distinction. It's also one of the rare places where diving and luxury genuinely coexist: Duna Divers is a PADI award-winning center with boats, expert guides, and specialty trips, all five minutes from your suite.
Ibagari is a MICHELIN Key-awarded adults-only boutique resort on a private stretch of beach between Roatán's West Bay and West End. Sixteen thoughtfully designed suites and a pair of full private residences are filled with curated art, gleaming wood, white walls, and French doors that open straight to the Caribbean breeze. The on-site Duna Divers center sits steps from the Mesoamerican Reef — the second-largest coral reef system on the planet — and Luna Muna restaurant has earned a following well beyond hotel guests.
