La Badira sits at the northern tip of Hammamet, 3 km from the Medina, on a small peninsula where the Mediterranean is genuinely at your feet. It's a 5-star adults-only property (strictly 16+) built around the 1930s era when artists — Paul Klee, Jean Cocteau, André Gide — came here chasing the town's famously particular quality of light. The architecture earns its references: arched colonnades, reflective pools, domed ceilings, perforated Islamic filigree in the furnishings. White and beige run the show, inside and out. All 130 suites have sea-view terraces, and the top-tier 160m² Legend Suites come with private infinity pools overlooking the Bay of Hammamet. It's also home to the only Spa by Clarins in Tunisia.

Six suites, each named after a famous figure with a connection to Hammamet, each at 160m² with a private infinity pool overlooking the sea and an indoor fireplace. The Paul Klee suite is the standout visual departure — bold colors referencing the painter's Tunisia period of 1914. The Leïla Menchari suite, added more recently, pays tribute to the Tunisian artist who designed Hermès' iconic Paris window displays, with warm Mediterranean hues and Tunisian craft motifs. All six have the most space, the most privacy, and the best sea views in the hotel.

A significant step up at 120m², the Nour Suites have a separate sitting room and bedroom with a discreet Oriental touch throughout. The bathroom features an Italian bath and shower, and a terrace comes with an outdoor whirlpool bath overlooking the sea — one of the better perks in the hotel for couples.
