Las Alcobas opened in 2010 inside a former palatial private residence on Polanco's most prestigious strip, Avenida Presidente Masaryk. The entire 35-room, seven-story property was designed by Yabu Pushelberg — the firm behind work for Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Four Seasons — and it shows: rosewood finishes, earth-toned furnishings, hand-stitched leather walls, original Mexican art. It's the only five-star hotel actually in Polanco, adults-only (13+), and quietly earns its reputation without the lobby-circus energy of bigger luxury brands in the city.
