Las Casitas
Remote eco-luxury meets high-altitude farm retreat. Rustic brick, timber and hand-crafted tiles on the outside; proper marble bathrooms and underfloor heating inside. Adventure is built into the itinerary, but so is doing nothing at all.

Why It Matters
One of the only luxury properties actually inside the Colca Canyon — one of the deepest canyons on Earth — rather than just near it. The estate model (20 casitas, each with private pool) delivers a villa-style experience that is almost impossible to find at this altitude and this level of remoteness. The farm-to-table setup is genuine, not decorative.
Twenty private casitas sit on a 24-hectare estate on the left bank of the Colca River, surrounded by Andean terraces, volcanic peaks and some of the most dramatic canyon scenery in South America. Every villa has its own heated plunge pool and fireplace. Rooms are TV-free by design. The kitchen runs off an organic garden with five greenhouses, a prickly pear orchard and a trout pond — which means the food actually tastes like it belongs here.
