Le Parc Hotel opened in 2007 as Quito's first true boutique hotel, and it still stands out in a city that doesn't have much competition at this level. The 12-story glass-and-steel tower sits in the La Carolina financial district, with a lobby designed by Adriana Hoyos — think coal-black chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling white curtains, and ebony-velvet loungers. The headline feature is a heated rooftop pool sitting 70 meters above the city, which is genuinely impressive for a Quito property. But rooms on the smaller side and a few inconsistent amenity touches keep it from being truly flawless.
