Nagasaki Marriott Hotel
Sleek modern business hotel with strong local design touches — Nagasaki's history of foreign influence runs through the interiors, from the artwork to the restaurant concepts. Feels polished without being stiff.

Why It Matters
Marriott Hotels' first property in Kyushu and the brand's ninth in all of Japan. Connected directly to the Shinkansen platform. The Imperial Suite is reportedly the largest hotel suite in Kyushu. Ranked #1 of 60 hotels in Nagasaki on TripAdvisor.
Nagasaki Marriott opened inside the redeveloped JR Nagasaki Station complex — the first stop on the West Kyushu Shinkansen Line. The lobby sits on the 7th floor with floor-to-ceiling glass looking out at Mount Inasa and the harbor, giving the place an immediate sense of arrival. Outside, the building is styled after a cruise ship, which is either charming or a bit on-the-nose for a port city, depending on your taste. All 207 rooms start at 36m² and roughly 70% have private balconies. There's no pool, and no on-site spa, but the dining lineup is genuinely excellent for a city hotel.
