Why It Matters
Designed by Rem Koolhaas/OMA — the only hotel in the world where Koolhaas oversaw both the building's exterior and its interior. Located in De Rotterdam, a 42-story mixed-use tower considered one of the most significant pieces of contemporary architecture in Europe. Won the Best Hotel Design Award in 2014. The Erasmus Bridge view from upper floors is arguably the best urban view in the Netherlands.
nhow Rotterdam sits inside De Rotterdam, Rem Koolhaas/OMA's iconic stacked skyscraper on the Wilhelminapier waterfront. Sunset views are the draw here. One room in this category is occasionally available as the 'nhow TOIZ' immersive art experience room — available on request and subject to availability.
