Son Penya is a restored Mallorcan finca sitting in the rural east of the island, about as far from the tourist crowds of Palma as you can get. Twenty rooms spread across 200,000 m² of countryside — olive trees, almond trees, vineyards — and the whole place runs adults-only, so the vibe stays decidedly quiet. Think warm stone walls, wooden-beamed ceilings, and a colour palette of warm neutrals. It earns its keep with a proper spa circuit (heated pool, hammam, sauna), a fine-dining restaurant run by a named chef, and genuinely attentive staff that repeat guests keep coming back for.
