Stadium City Hotel Nagasaki
Bold, contemporary sports-lifestyle hotel with serious culinary ambition. Think sleek Japanese minimalism meets stadium energy — glass, light, and a constant reminder that something exciting is happening just outside your window. Not a traditional Japanese ryokan experience at all.
For stadium views from your balcony during a match, request a room above the 8th floor — the rain shelter blocks sightlines on lower floors
Why It Matters
First soccer stadium-view hotel in Japan. Every major wellness facility — the pool, sauna, onsen, gym, and spa — has direct views of the pitch. The restaurant lineup is genuinely impressive, anchored by WAGYUMAFIA and LES CINQ SENS. The Royal Suite at ¥1,500,000/night is one of the largest in Kyushu.
Japan's first soccer stadium-view hotel, Stadium City Hotel Nagasaki opened in October 2024 as the crown jewel of the Nagasaki Stadium City complex — a privately-led, billion-dollar mixed-use development by TV shopping giant Japanet Group built on former Mitsubishi Heavy Industries factory land. The 243-room hotel wraps around Peace Stadium (home of J-League club V-Varen Nagasaki), meaning the pitch is literally your view from the room, the pool, the sauna, and the onsen. But the draw isn't just the view: there are 11 restaurants and bars across the top floors, natural hot springs from 1,500 meters underground, and a rooftop zipline over the stadium.
