The Cloudveil
Mountain-modern luxury with serious western soul. Après-ski chic but never fussy. The kind of place that feels elevated without making you feel like you need to dress up for the lobby.

Why It Matters
The only hotel directly on Jackson's historic Town Square. Michelin One Key (2024 & 2025). First major hotel built on the Square since 1997. Home to acclaimed restaurateur Gavin Fine's The Bistro. Interior design so well-regarded it won the IIDA New England Design Awards Best in Hospitality in 2022.
The Cloudveil opened in May 2021 as the first major hotel built on Jackson's historic Town Square since 1997 — and the only one directly on it. It's a 100-room Marriott Autograph Collection property that pulls off an impressive balancing act: modern and design-forward, but grounded in the raw materials and western character of its surroundings. Stone, leather, wood. A 3,000-pound boulder check-in desk. Aspen trees spanning floor-to-ceiling in the lobby. The design team (TruexCullins, CLB Architects, IBI Group) clearly did their homework. The Bistro, helmed by celebrated local restaurateur Gavin Fine, is one of the best restaurants in town and open to walk-ins. The hotel earned Michelin's One Key distinction in both 2024 and 2025.
