Villa María Cristina sits on Paseo de la Presa, one of Guanajuato's most elegant boulevards, built out of a cluster of restored 19th-century neoclassical mansions. The result feels more like a small village than a hotel — mosaic-clad patios, iron columns, galleries, and terraces all connect the buildings, with the Cerro de la Bufa mountain looming over everything. King or Two Doubles · 45 sqmMaster Deluxe Suite
The top tier. King bed, full living and dining area, the works. Separate bedroom and living space with the same historic architectural features and luxury furnishings as the Master, but with added room to spread out.
KingMaster Suite
The big step up. Spacious terraces, splendid Cerro de la Bufa views, 45 to 60 m² with high ceilings and oak wood floors. Some Master Suites come with a terrace jacuzzi and a 50" LED screen — that combination is difficult to beat. Some also have two full bathrooms.
King · 52 sqmPetit Suite
The entry-level option, and still thoroughly impressive. One king or two double beds, Roche Bobois furniture throughout, Bang & Olufsen audio, 500-thread-count sheets. Bathrooms come with either a steam room or bathtub, plus luxury toiletries. Compact but not cramped.
