Not the best time

Challenging month for most visitors but rock-bottom prices make it tempting for budget travelers. The city empties of tourists for good reason.

Weather

June cranks up the intensity with soaring temperatures and suffocating humidity often exceeding 85%. The heat feels relentless from sunrise to well past sunset. Dust storms become more common.

June Tips

  • Book hotels with excellent pool facilities
  • Plan museum and mall visits during peak heat hours
  • Hydration becomes critical - carry water everywhere

All Months

November through March is peak season for good reason — temperatures hover around 25°C and humidity stays manageable. December and January are perfect, but hotel prices jump 30-40% and popular restaurants book up fast. March offers the sweet spot of good weather and slightly lower crowds. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December turns the city into chaos — exciting if you're into Formula 1, expensive and crowded if you're not. April and October work if you can handle some heat. Temperatures reach 30-35°C but it's still bearable for sightseeing. Plus hotel rates drop significantly. Summer months from May to September are brutal — 45°C days with crushing humidity make outdoor activities miserable. But if you're planning to spend time in malls and indoor attractions anyway, you'll find serious hotel deals and empty tourist sites.
