May through October brings more rain and humidity, but also better deals and fewer tourists. The rain usually comes in short afternoon bursts rather than all-day downpours. Hurricane season runs June through November, though direct hits are rare.
Diving conditions stay excellent year-round with water temperatures between 78-84°F. Visibility can actually improve during the wet season when fewer boats stir up the bottom.
