December and January offer the coolest weather but also the busiest crowds. European families flood the resort hotels during Christmas holidays, so book early and expect premium prices.
March and April might be perfect months - warm enough for swimming, not yet scorching, and fewer tourists than winter peak season. Hotel rates drop 20-30% compared to December.
Summer (May-September) tests your heat tolerance. Temperatures regularly hit 40°C+ (104°F+), making midday activities nearly impossible. But here's the upside: hotel rates plummet, beaches empty out, and you get that exclusive resort feeling. Just plan everything for early morning or evening.
Avoid major Islamic holidays when domestic tourists pack the city and prices spike. Ramadan actually works well for visitors - many restaurants stay open for tourists, and the evening iftar atmosphere brings special energy.
