Baguio in May
Great time to visit
The last month of the comfortable season before heavy rains. Still pleasant enough for most activities with reasonable prices.
Weather
May brings noticeably warmer temperatures but Baguio still feels refreshingly cool compared to Manila's sweltering heat. Afternoon thunderstorms start becoming more frequent, usually clearing by evening. Humidity begins to creep up but remains manageable.

All Months
Baguio stays cool year-round, with temperatures rarely climbing above 26°C (78°F). But timing still matters for crowds and weather patterns.
December through May offers the driest weather and clearest mountain views. This is peak season — expect packed hotels during Christmas and Easter weeks. Book accommodation well in advance for these periods.
The Panagbenga Flower Festival hits in February, transforming the city into a riot of color. Hotel prices double and streets clog with visitors, but the parade down Session Road is spectacular. If you're coming for this, book rooms by November.
June through November brings more rain and fog, but also fewer crowds and lower prices. Morning mist often shrouds the mountains, creating an atmospheric but limiting views. Some outdoor activities may get cancelled during heavy rains.
Weekends year-round see an influx of Manila residents escaping the heat. Arrive on weekdays for a more relaxed experience and better restaurant availability.
