Boquete in February
Great time to visit
Another stellar month combining perfect weather with coffee harvest activities. Crowds remain heavy but the experience justifies the higher costs and advance planning required.
Weather
February continues the dry season magic with slightly warmer days reaching 26°C and cool nights around 16°C. Rain is almost non-existent, humidity stays comfortable, and the famous Boquete mist creates stunning sunrise views from Volcán Barú. The coffee harvest is still happening in higher elevations.

All Months
December through April brings dry season perfection. Temperatures hover around 75°F during the day, 55°F at night. This is peak season, so book ahead and expect higher prices.
May through November sees afternoon rains, but mornings stay clear for hiking. The landscape turns impossibly green. Hotels drop prices 30-40%, and you'll have trails mostly to yourself. Just pack a rain jacket.
Avoid September and October — the wettest months when some mountain roads become impassable. But November through March offers the sweet spot of good weather and reasonable crowds.
