All Months
October through March is your window. Bundi sits in a valley, so summer temperatures can hit 45°C – not fun when you're climbing fort walls.
November and December offer the best weather. Days are warm and sunny (25-28°C), nights are cool enough for sleeping without AC. Perfect for exploring those stepwells and palace courtyards.
January and February can get surprisingly cold at night – pack a jacket. But the clear skies make for incredible photography, especially at sunrise from Taragarh Fort.
Monsoon (July-September) brings lush greenery but also means slippery palace steps and potential flooding in the stepwells. Some guesthouses close during heavy rains.
Avoid April through June unless you enjoy feeling like you're inside an oven. Even locals escape to hill stations during these months.
