Great time to visit
The driest month of the year with flawless beach conditions. But everyone knows it - expect crowds and the highest prices of the year.
Weather
February continues the dry season magic with barely a cloud in sight. Trade winds keep things pleasant despite the sun's intensity, and humidity stays low. This is as close to guaranteed sunshine as you'll get in the Caribbean.

All Months
November through April delivers Varadero's perfect weather: temperatures around 24-27°C, minimal rainfall, and steady trade winds that keep humidity manageable. This is peak season, so expect higher prices and crowded resorts. Book accommodations at least three months ahead for travel between December and March.
May and October work well as shoulder seasons. You'll find lower rates and fewer crowds, though May brings higher humidity and October marks the tail end of hurricane season. Rain usually comes in short, intense bursts rather than all-day downpours.
Avoid June through September unless you enjoy serious heat and humidity. Temperatures push past 30°C, afternoon thunderstorms arrive almost daily, and hurricane risk peaks between August and October. Some restaurants and attractions reduce hours during this period.
The Christmas and New Year period sees the highest prices and most crowded conditions. Many resorts require minimum seven-night stays during these weeks, and flights from North America book solid by October.
