All Months
December through April delivers Freeport at its finest. Temperatures hover in the mid-70s to low 80s, humidity drops, and those trade winds actually provide relief instead of just moving hot air around. This is peak season, so expect higher prices and advance booking requirements.
January and February offer the best deals within the peak window. Hotels drop rates slightly after New Year's crowds disperse, but weather remains perfect. You'll still pay more than summer, but $50-75 less per night than December.
March brings spring breakers, particularly to areas near Port Lucaya. If you're traveling with family, consider early April instead. Weather stays excellent but college crowds thin out.
Summer months (May-October) mean serious heat, humidity, and hurricane risk. But here's the upside: hotel rates drop 40-50%, and you'll have beaches largely to yourself. Just pack serious sunscreen and plan indoor activities during midday heat.
Hurricane season peaks August through October. Monitor forecasts closely and consider travel insurance if booking during these months.
