July brings the Pažaislis Music Festival to the baroque monastery, but also peak crowds and €20 higher hotel rates. Winter means short days and bitter cold, but also Christmas markets in Town Hall Square and cozy pub sessions. Spring arrives late – April still feels like winter, but May explodes with green parks and outdoor cafe season. Book summer accommodation by March or pay premium prices.
