All Months
May through October gives you the best weather, but each month has its personality. May and June offer warm days (22-25°C) without the summer crowds. Hotel prices drop by 30% compared to peak season, and you can actually find parking.
July and August bring blazing sunshine and packed beaches. Temperatures hit 30°C regularly, the Atlantic warms to a comfortable 20°C, and every restaurant terrace fills up by 7pm. This is Lagos at its most energetic — but also its most expensive and crowded.
September and October might be the sweet spot. The ocean stays warm from summer heating, temperatures hover around 25°C, and the tourist hordes thin out. Restaurant owners are more relaxed, prices drop, and you can enjoy those clifftop walks without fighting for photo spots.
Winter (November-April) is mild but unpredictable. You might get glorious 20°C days perfect for hiking, or gray weeks with Atlantic storms. Many restaurants close, and the nightlife scene goes into hibernation.
