All Months
May through October delivers the most reliable weather, with less rainfall and calmer seas perfect for snorkeling. Water temperatures hover around 26°C year-round, but visibility improves dramatically during these drier months. November through April brings cyclone season — not necessarily storms, but higher humidity and afternoon downpours that can last hours. The village empties out during weekdays as most visitors come for weekend getaways from Apia. Sunday sees the entire community in church, followed by massive family feasts. If you want cultural immersion, arrive Saturday evening. For solitude, weekday mornings offer nearly private beaches. The coral spawns in November, creating murky water but incredible marine activity for those willing to dive deeper.
