Great time to visit

All Months
November through April is your sweet spot — dry, sunny, and perfect for walking around. December and January get busy with European tourists escaping winter, but Male stays manageable since most head straight to resorts. March and April offer the best balance: great weather, fewer crowds, and slightly lower prices. The wet season (May to October) isn't terrible — just expect afternoon rain showers that cool things down. Actually, some locals prefer it. Hotels drop their rates, and the rain usually passes quickly. Just pack an umbrella and embrace the tropical downpours.
