Oran in June
Good time to visit
June brings the heat but also the energy as summer kicks off. Beach weather arrives in full force, but you'll need to plan around the increasingly intense sun.
Weather
June marks the beginning of Oran's hot, dry summer. Temperatures climb steadily with very little rainfall to provide relief. The coastal location helps, but midday sun becomes intense and humidity can feel sticky.

All Months
March through May gives you perfect weather — warm days around 22°C without the crushing summer heat. September through November works just as well, with calm seas and comfortable temperatures for walking the hilly streets. Summer gets brutal, with July temperatures hitting 35°C and humidity from the Mediterranean making it feel worse. Winter brings rain and cooler temps around 15°C, but also fewer crowds and lower hotel prices. The shoulder seasons let you enjoy the beaches at Ain el Turck without the August crowds of Algerian families on holiday. Spring brings wildflowers to the surrounding hills, while fall offers the clearest views from Fort Santa Cruz.
