All Months
March through May delivers perfect weather — 70s and 80s with minimal humidity. Spring breakers thin out after March, leaving you with reasonable hotel rates and manageable crowds.
September through November might be even better. Water temperatures stay warm from summer heating, but the oppressive humidity breaks. Hurricane season officially runs through November, but most storms track elsewhere.
Summer brings the crowds and the heat. July averages 90 degrees with suffocating humidity, but that's when the Blue Angels perform their summer shows. Hotel rates double, and beach parking fills by 10 AM.
Winter sees temperatures in the 60s — perfect for walking downtown but too cool for most beach activities. Many seasonal restaurants close January through February, but you'll find deals on accommodations.
The Blue Angels practice Tuesday through Thursday mornings year-round, weather permitting. Their major air shows happen in July and November.
