But it also brings festival season – Noche de San Juan in June turns the entire city into a massive beach party. Just pack extra deodorant and embrace the sweat. Hurricane season (June-November) keeps some travelers away, but San Juan's infrastructure has improved dramatically since Hurricane Maria. September and October pose the highest risk, but deals on hotels can be significant.
