Tirana in July
Good time to visit
July brings blazing heat and peak crowds to Tirana. If you can handle temperatures in the 30s and don't mind paying top dollar, the city buzzes with energy and festivals.
Weather
July unleashes Tirana's full summer fury with scorching 32°C days and warm 20°C nights that barely cool things down. Rain practically disappears at 3 days per month, creating dust and haze. Humidity drops to 55%, but the relentless sun makes every degree count.

All Months
April through June delivers perfect Tirana weather. Temperatures hover around 20-25°C (68-77°F), the city's parks explode with green, and you can actually enjoy walking around. May is particularly sweet - warm enough for outdoor dining, cool enough to explore without melting.
September and October work almost as well. The summer heat breaks, but the sun still shines most days. Plus, you'll catch Tirana's cultural season ramping up - galleries reopen, theaters start their programs, and the city shakes off its summer lethargy.
Summer gets brutal. July and August see temperatures pushing 35°C (95°F), and the concrete city center becomes a furnace. Air conditioning is hit-or-miss in older buildings. If you must visit in summer, plan indoor activities for midday and save sightseeing for early morning or evening.
Winter isn't terrible, just gray. Rain falls regularly, but rarely for days at a time. Hotels drop their prices, and you'll have restaurants to yourself. Just pack layers - buildings heat inconsistently.
