Book accommodations months ahead during this period. Spring (April-May) offers perfect weather and fewer crowds. The hills around Verona turn green, and restaurant terraces reopen. Fall brings harvest season in nearby Valpolicella wine region – perfect for day trips. Winter is quiet but charming, especially around Christmas when Piazza dei Signori hosts a small market.
