Willemstad in February
Great time to visit
Carnival month means peak everything - peak crowds, peak prices, peak energy. The weather couldn't be better, but expect to pay top dollar and book everything way in advance.
Weather
February continues the dry season magic with barely any rainfall and constant trade winds. Humidity stays reasonable, making those walks through Otrobanda much more pleasant. The sun shines almost daily with occasional puffy white clouds for photo ops.

All Months
December through May offers perfect weather - 82°F days, gentle trade winds, minimal rain. This peak season means higher prices and crowds, especially during Dutch school holidays in February and March.
June through November brings heat and humidity, but also better deals. Hurricane season technically runs June-November, but Curaçao sits below the hurricane belt. You might see some rain, but nothing like what hits the northern Caribbean.
Carnival in February turns the city into a street party for two weeks. Hotels book solid and prices spike 40%. Book six months ahead or skip this period entirely if you want quiet exploration.
Cruise season peaks December-April, with ships docking 3-4 times weekly. Downtown gets packed 9am-5pm on port days. Check cruise schedules and plan beach days accordingly.
The shoulder months of June and November offer the sweet spot - decent weather, lower prices, fewer crowds.
