Ifrane in September
Great time to visit
September offers the best of both worlds - still-warm days without summer's crushing heat and crowds. One of the absolute best months to experience Ifrane's natural beauty.
Weather
September brings relief from summer's heat with warm days and increasingly cool nights. Occasional rain showers return, but they're brief and refreshing. The changing light creates gorgeous photography conditions, especially around the cedar forests.

All Months
Spring and fall are perfect. April through June brings wildflowers and comfortable hiking weather. September and October offer crisp mornings and golden afternoons that make you want to stay forever.
Winter transforms Ifrane into something magical, but also challenging. Snow falls regularly from December through February, and temperatures drop below freezing. The town gets quiet as many restaurants close or reduce hours. But if you've ever wanted to see snow in Morocco, this is your chance.
Summer brings Moroccan families escaping the heat of Fez and Casablanca. Hotels fill up and prices spike. The weather's pleasant, but the town loses some of its peaceful charm. July and August feel more like a Moroccan beach resort than a mountain retreat.
