Montego Bay in June
Not the best time
Rock-bottom prices come with a reason. High humidity, daily storms, and sweltering heat make this challenging for most travelers, though mornings can still be lovely.
Weather
June kicks off the rainy season proper with high humidity and daily afternoon thunderstorms. Mornings can be spectacular, but by 2pm, clouds roll in with predictable drama. Heat becomes oppressive without the breeze.

All Months
December through April offers perfect weather — temperatures hover around 80°F with minimal rain. But this is peak season, so expect crowds at Doctor's Cave Beach and higher prices everywhere. January and February are the sweet spot — post-holiday calm but still dry and sunny. March brings spring breakers, which means party atmosphere but also noise and crowds. The rainy season runs May through November, but don't write it off completely. Showers usually hit in the afternoon for an hour or two, then clear up. You'll get better hotel deals and fewer crowds. Hurricane season peaks August through October — most storms miss Jamaica, but flight cancellations happen. November can be beautiful with lower humidity and occasional rain. Christmas week is chaos — book everything months ahead and expect to pay double for accommodations.
