Noosa in February
Not the best time
Still sweaty season but crowds start thinning slightly as school holidays end. The Noosa Festival of Surfing brings energy, but you'll be competing with humidity for breathing space.
Weather
February keeps the heat cranked up with scorching afternoons that regularly push past 30°C. The humidity stays brutal - think walking through a warm, wet blanket. Rain comes in dramatic bursts, usually late afternoon, providing temporary relief before the steam rises again.

All Months
April through October is your sweet spot. The weather's perfect - warm days around 25°C, cool nights, and minimal rain. But everyone knows this, so expect crowds and premium prices from June to September. April and May are actually ideal if you can swing it. Still warm enough for swimming, fewer tourists, and accommodation prices drop 30-40% from peak season rates. October works too, though you might catch some spring rain. Avoid December to March unless you love humidity and afternoon storms. January temperatures hit 30°C+ with 80% humidity, and that's when the stingers arrive offshore. School holidays are brutal - particularly the two weeks around Easter and all of July. Main Beach becomes a sea of umbrellas, and good luck getting a restaurant table without booking days ahead. If you must visit during peak season, stay in Sunshine Beach or Noosaville to escape some of the chaos.
